The rolling countryside and local culture in Cowbridge has inspired Artist Maureen A. Jackson with her latest series of work “The l
ucky Welsh goblin“. There are ten different clay characters in the series, each carefully modelled by hand. Her work with clay and canvas has always reflected her passion for romantic myths and legends and the humour and humanity of folklore. While attending Cardiff University Maureen has won an award for the most original design and most creative business plan with her “bar scene” sculptures. Maureen’s work is on display in the Old Hall Gallery during January and February 2019. FREE admission, just pop in we are on the High Street with the Old Hall Gardens behind. Great afternoon out with plenty of local coffee shops.
